Your proposed edit to include the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) prohibition on drone use at Hammonasset Beach State Park has been approved. This aligns with DEEP's regulations, which prohibit drone use in all state parks and forests without specific authorization. The added context about the park's piping plover nesting areas and shoreline enhances the understanding of the area's drone flight considerations. The outline has been updated to accurately represent the restricted area.
