+ * Rutland Water is a Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) asset and one of the largest reservoirs by surface area in the UK.
+ * The site includes highly sensitive environmental zones, specifically designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), Special Protection Area (SPA), and RAMSAR wetland conservation site. 
+ * Due to the high risk of disturbing rare wintering wildfowl and breeding osprey populations, unauthorized activities on the ground are strictly regulated.

+ * Active land and perimeter patrols are conducted regularly across the visitor tracks, car parks, and nature reserve banks by park rangers.
