A.K. Bissell Park is an energetic 38-acre community and civic park found within Oak Ridge, Tennessee. There are several amenities in the park including a one and a quarter mile paved walking loop, playground area, picnic shelter, and an outdoor performance pavilion. Internationally known for being the location of the International Friendship Bell, an eight thousand pound bronze statue that symbolizes the friendship between America and Japan, and the Secret City Commemorative Walk, which commemorates the workers of the Manhattan Project who formed the city.
