Elijah Clark State Park Drone Rule

Elijah Clark State Park is located on the shoreline of Clarks Hill Lake near the Georgia–South Carolina border and is managed by Georgia State Parks.

Under Georgia State Parks regulations, drones may not be launched, landed, or operated within Elijah Clark State Park unless authorization has been granted through an approved permit or waiver process.

This restriction applies throughout Elijah Clark State Park, including Clarks Hill Lake recreation areas, boat ramps, fishing access locations, lakeside campgrounds, picnic facilities, and visitor-use areas located within the mapped park boundary.

Because Elijah Clark State Park provides public access to Clarks Hill Lake and associated waterfront recreation facilities, pilots should obtain authorization from Georgia State Parks before conducting drone operations within the park.
