Drone flights at Vogel State Park require authorization from Georgia State Parks. Launching, landing, or operating a drone within park boundaries without approval is prohibited.


Vogel State Park Drone Rule

Vogel State Park is managed by Georgia State Parks and follows statewide regulations governing unmanned aircraft operations on state park property.

Drone launching, landing, and operation within Vogel State Park are prohibited unless authorization has been granted through an approved waiver or permit process.

This restriction applies throughout the park, including Lake Trahlyta, mountain hiking trails, waterfall access areas, campground facilities, picnic areas, and other visitor recreation locations within the mapped park boundary.

Pilots intending to conduct drone operations at Vogel State Park should obtain authorization from Georgia State Parks before flight.
