Porto Airport has rules regarding the surrounding areas of the airport, divided in 3 areas with different flying height limits.
Restrictions and Requirements
- Open Category allowed
- Flying height up to 30/60/80m (Areas 1/2/3) SFC (from surface) or in a 75m radius from a high obstacle (building, antenna, etc) is allowed.
- UA (aircraft) must have a telemetry system with realtime height information displayed to the pilot to fly in this area.
Authorization Requirements
- Aircraft operation outside the previously mentioned conditions requires authorization from ANAC.
