This is a temporary Navigation Warning (NOTAM) issued for the Malacca International Airport (WMKM) region due to increased risk of encountering aerial vehicles.

  • Rule & Hazard: Unmanned Aircraft (UA) activities are active within the specified coordinates (Batang Melaka, Alor Gajah, Petronas Refinery, WMR 237). Drone operations are strictly restricted between Surface (SFC) and 300ft AMSL.
  • Hours: Active daily from 00:00 to 10:00 UTC (08:00 to 18:00 Local Time).
  • Effective Period: From April 1, 2026, until June 30, 2026.
  • Agencies & Permission: Operations within this airspace are subject to Air Traffic Control (ATC) coordination and require prior authorization from the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM).
  • Exceptions: Only flights with explicit ATC clearance and valid CAAM permits are permitted inside this boundary during active hours.
