Lat: 31.7917 • Lng: -7.09262
Ground Not allowed Last updated: May 25, 2026

Drone use is strictly prohibited for tourists and private individuals in Morocco, with no recreational or personal permits available.

Morocco tightly controls civilian drones mainly for national security, airspace protection, and privacy reasons. Since 2015, importing and operating drones has been subject to authorization requirements rather than open recreational use.

Bringing a drone in morrocco without authorization will cause big fines and customs seizure. Zones such as near airports, military sites, border areas, government facilities, or sensitive locations are heavily monitored for drone usage.

You might be able to get permission from the authorities, however the process might take a few weeks of preparation, You will need to specify: exact location dates mission purpose exact duration of operation

PS : not worth the struggle, would not recommend
