Positioned north of Bremen near the Teufelsmoor region, this unmonitored 600-meter grass strip serves as an active hub for ultralight (UL) aircraft, motorized trikes, and local flight schools. Manned aviation traffic routinely conducts a mandatory northern circuit pattern at 800 feet MSL, leading to very low-altitude operations directly over the property borders. Because student pilots and lightweight aircraft operate with high reliance on visual flight rules (VFR) self-announcements, uncoordinated drone usage creates a critical mid-air collision hazard near the active runway 11/29. To secure an exceptional operational waiver, remote pilots must establish prior permission (PPR) with the local club (Luftsportgemeinschaft Hüttenbusch e.V.) before takeoff.
