Drone Rules for Flugplatz
Drone operations are strictly prohibited within a 1.5-kilometer radius around the perimeter of the Burgebrach airfield. Operating any uncrewed system inside this active protection zone mandatory requires prior, explicit approval from the local flight safety director.
Legal Basis and Purpose: In accordance with § 21h Abs. 3 Nr. 1 LuftVO (German Aviation Regulation), drone flights are legally banned within 1.5 km of the property boundaries. Additionally, flight operations take place on short notice during favorable weekend weather conditions, presenting invisible risks for multirotors.Consequences of Violations: Unauthorized drone operations inside this boundary constitute a dangerous interference with air traffic (§ 315a StGB).
