Drone flights are completely prohibited at Beijing Daxing Airport. As of May 1, 2026, the entire city is a no-fly zone, meaning no recreational flights are permitted near the airport. Bringing a drone into the city or purchasing one locally is also illegal.


Restriction:

The airport perimeter and all of Beijing are restricted airspace. Special government approval is required for any flight, but it is not granted for hobby use.

Transport:

Carrying a drone into the airport or city via any transport method is illegal. Delivery services block all drone shipments to this area.

Registration:

While drones must be registered with authorities, this does not grant permission to fly within the airport zone.

Penalties:

Violations result in immediate confiscation, fines, or potential criminal charges.
