Drone operations are prohibited on airport property and restricted in the vicinity of Bagotville Airport due to active civilian and military aviation operations.

Bagotville Airport (CYBG) is a certified airport and military installation operated by the Department of National Defence and serves both civilian and military aircraft. Drone pilots must not launch, land, or operate drones in a manner that could interfere with aircraft operations.

The airport is located within controlled airspace and additional restrictions apply to RPAS (drone) operations. Transport Canada and local airport authorities require operators to obtain appropriate authorizations before conducting flights in controlled airspace. Due to frequent military and civilian traffic, drone operations within the airport area and approach/departure paths present significant aviation safety risks.

Pilots planning operations near CYBG should consult NAV CANADA airspace information and obtain any required approvals before flight.
