Drone operations are prohibited on airport property and within the active operational area of Fontanges Airport due to aircraft operations and aviation safety requirements.

Fontanges Airport (CTU2 / YFG) is a private aerodrome operated by Hydro-Québec in northern Québec. The airport includes an active gravel runway (09/27) used to support regional operations and access to remote facilities.

Transport Canada requires drone pilots to avoid operating in a manner that could interfere with aircraft operating at or near an aerodrome. Drone takeoffs, landings, or flights within the airport operational area may create hazards for arriving and departing aircraft.

This restriction applies to the runway, apron areas, airport facilities, and the immediate approach and departure corridors surrounding the aerodrome. Pilots should obtain any required authorization before conducting operations near the airport environment.
