Drone operations are prohibited on airport property and within the active operational area of Chevery Airport due to aircraft movements and aviation safety requirements.

Chevery Airport (CYHR) is a public airport serving the community of Chevery on Québec’s Lower North Shore. The airport operates an active asphalt runway and supports regular passenger and cargo aircraft operations.

Transport Canada requires drone pilots to avoid operating in a manner that could interfere with aircraft operating at or near an airport or aerodrome. Drone takeoffs, landings, or flights conducted within the airport operational area may create a hazard for arriving and departing aircraft.

This restriction applies to the runway, apron, airport facilities, and the immediate approach and departure paths surrounding the airport. Pilots should obtain any required authorization before conducting operations near the airport environment.
