Drone operations are prohibited on airport property and within the active operational area of Charlevoix Airport due to aircraft movements and aviation safety requirements.

Charlevoix Airport (CYML) is a certified public airport serving the Charlevoix region. The airport includes an active asphalt runway (15/33), aircraft parking areas, and approach and departure corridors used by aircraft throughout the year.

Transport Canada requires drone pilots to avoid operating in a manner that could interfere with aircraft operations at airports and aerodromes. Drone takeoffs, landings, or flights conducted within the airport operational area may create a hazard for arriving and departing aircraft.

This restriction applies to airport property, runway areas, apron facilities, and the immediate approach and departure paths surrounding the airport.
