Drone operations are not permitted on airport property and must avoid interfering with aircraft operations at Alma Airport.

Alma Airport (CYTF) is an active public aerodrome. Drone operations are strictly restricted in the vicinity of airports in Canada under Transport Canada regulations. Pilots must not launch, land, or operate a drone in any way that could interfere with manned aircraft operations.

According to Transport Canada rules, drones must not be flown in a manner that could endanger aircraft operating at or near an aerodrome. Additional restrictions apply within several kilometres of certified airports, and any operation near controlled airspace may require authorization through NAV CANADA or applicable aviation authorities.

For safety reasons, this area is marked as a no-fly zone around the airport infrastructure and runway environment.
