Strict Prohibition (Recreational)


Managed by Ontario Parks, Algonquin prohibits all recreational drone operations within its vast territory. Park bylaws treat drones as motorized vehicles and potential wildlife hazards. Though micro-drones under 250 grams are subject to looser federal constraints under Transport Canada, they are still entirely barred from using Ontario Provincial Park land as operational launchpads.
