The Setor Militar de Osasco—anchored near the historic Quitaúna district and bordered by Praça Antônio Raposo Tavares—is one of the most high-congested and historically vital tactical military strongholds in the state of São Paulo. This vast federal compound houses major operational pillars of the Southeast Military Command (CMSE), most notably the 4º Batalhão de Infantaria Mecanizado (4º BIMec - "Regimento Raposo Tavares") and the 2º Batalhão de Polícia do Exército (2º BPE).

The entire military sector is isolated by high-security fencing, active checkpoints, and 24/7 armed patrols from the Polícia do Exército. Any civilian drone attempting to cross the perimeter without high-level clearances from the base command and an explicit flight authorization approved via DECEA's SARPAS NG portal will be actively countered and downed. Operators face immediate federal arrest, equipment seizure, and severe prosecution under the Military Penal Code.
