The Centro Tecnológico da Marinha em São Paulo (CTMSP), particularly its Aramar Experimental Center in Iperó, is the crown jewel of the Brazilian Navy's high-tech development. This high-security military complex is where the National Nuclear Submarine Development Program (PROSUB) is engineered, housing uranium enrichment laboratories, nuclear reactor prototypes, and sensitive research warehouses. Because of its dual nature as both a critical defense facility and a nuclear research site, it operates under the most stringent security protocols in Brazil. Operating a civilian drone near a nuclear research and naval technology facility is dangerous and highly illegal. The risks include unauthorized surveillance of classified energy infrastructure, potential physical hazards to industrial containment zones, and severe interference with sensitive electronic arrays. The entire perimeter is heavily defended by automated counter-UAS (anti-drone) systems, high-frequency signal jammers, and round-the-clock military patrols. Under DECEA instruction ICA 100-40 and federal strategic defense laws, any unauthorized civilian aircraft entering this zone will be immediately neutralized, the equipment will be confiscated, and the operator will face severe federal criminal charges related to national security violations.
