The Usina Nuclear Angra 3 is the third reactor unit of the Almirante Álvaro Alberto Nuclear Complex (CNAAA), situated off the BR-101 (Rodovia Procurador Haroldo Fernandes Duarte) in the isolated bay of Itaorna. The airspace enveloping the entire nuclear complex is officially designated by the Department of Airspace Control (DECEA) as Restricted Airspace SBR 302, extending from the ground up to high flight levels.
