The Palácio do Campo das Princesas, located in the historic Bairro de Santo Antônio in Recife, is the official executive headquarters of the State Government of Pernambuco. Built in the 19th century and surrounded by protected imperial palms, the compound houses the Governor's official workspace, strategic cabinet briefing rooms, and the high-security operational infrastructure managed by the Military House (Casa Militar de Pernambuco).

Attempting to fly a recreational or uncoordinated drone over this government palace triggers extreme defense measures because of two overlapping threats:

Severe Commercial Aviation Conflict: Geographically, the palace sits directly inside the low-altitude final approach and departure funnel for Recife/Guararapes International Airport (REC). Because commercial airliners cross the urban sky at low altitudes right above downtown Recife, any unauthorized civilian drone introduces a catastrophic risk of a jet engine ingestion or mid-air collision.

Tactical Executive Defense: To prevent illegal airborne surveillance, data sniffing, or physical payloads targeting state leaders, the Casa Militar maintains a strict zero-tolerance defense bubble over the property.

The palace grounds are continuously patrolled by specialized state security teams. Any unauthorized drone detected crossing the river perimeter or entering the airspace will be targeted by electronic signal counters. The equipment will be instantly seized, and the operator will be arrested by the Military Police and handed over to the Federal Police (Polícia Federal), facing severe federal indictments under DECEA instruction ICA 100-40 and national transportation safety laws.
