Before
After
Located at the strategic intersection of the BR-232 and BR-101 highways in the Curado district of Recife, the Comando Militar do Nordeste (CMNE) is the supreme operational theater headquarters for the Brazilian Army across nearly the entire Northeast region. This massive military complex directly commands three major Military Regions (6th, 7th, and 10th) and oversees the readiness, logistics, and deployment of thousands of combat troops, motorized infantry brigades, and specialized engineering groups. The entire property is heavily fortified, surrounded by high-security boundaries, and patrolled 24/7 by armed Military Police units (Polícia do Exército). Any civilian drone attempting to breach the CMNE perimeter or capture overhead imagery without an explicit military mandate and direct tactical waiver approved via DECEA’s SARPAS NG portal will be aggressively downed using electronic jammers. Operators face immediate federal arrest, equipment seizure, and prosecution under national security and military penal statutes.
