The airspace over and surrounding the Palácio das Esmeraldas (Goiânia, GO) is classified as a strictly restricted State Security and Government Institutional Protection Zone. Civilian drone flights are completely banned over the palace grounds, its internal residential courtyard.

The Palácio das Esmeraldas, located at the iconic Praça Cívica in the center of Goiânia, is the official residence and workplace of the Governor of the State of Goiás. Completed in 1937 in an Art Deco architectural style, the palace serves as the center of state political decisions, high-level diplomatic meetings, and administrative planning.

Operating an unauthorized or recreational civilian drone near this executive compound is treated as a severe security violation due to the following critical risk factors:

Executive Security and Privacy: The property is guarded 24/7 by the specialized security forces of the Military House (Casa Militar de Goiás). A strict zero-tolerance airspace bubble is enforced over the estate to prevent unauthorized aerial tracking of the Governor's movements, privacy invasion of the presidential quarters, or airborne tactical threats.

Low-Altitude Urban Aviation Hazards: The Praça Cívica acts as a central hub for low-altitude transits by public safety, emergency medical, and state government helicopters. Uncoordinated drone operations in this densely packed airspace create an immediate mid-air collision hazard.

The entire perimeter is actively monitored via advanced urban surveillance cameras and ground-based signal detection systems. Any civilian drone attempting to cross the palace walls or operate within the immediate square without formal clearance will face swift electronic neutralization. The equipment will be confiscated on the spot, and the pilot will be detained by the Military Police and handed over to federal authorities for prosecution under DECEA instruction ICA 100-40 and national security codes.
