Any uncoordinated drone activity in these landing and takeoff pathways creates an immediate, severe hazard of a mid-air collision with a passenger aircraft. Spontaneous or recreational drone flights within the airfield perimeter, its obstacle limitation surfaces, or its active traffic patterns are completely banned under federal law (Brazilian Penal Code, Art. 261).
