The airspace over and surrounding the Teatro Amazonas (Manaus, AM) is classified as a highly restricted Civil Urban Area, Historic Cultural Heritage Site, and Low-Altitude Air Traffic Safety Zone. Civilian drone flights are strictly prohibited directly over the theater building, its iconic tiled dome.

The Teatro Amazonas is a world-famous opera house and the primary cultural symbol of Manaus, located in the historic center of the city. Opened in 1896 during the peak of the rubber boom, it features an iconic Renaissance revival architecture topped with a sweeping dome covered in 36,000 decorated ceramic tiles painted in the colors of the Brazilian flag.

To legally operate a drone anywhere near this historic landmark, operators must strictly register their aircraft with ANAC, secure standard third-party liability insurance, and obtain formal digital airspace clearance through DECEA's SARPAS NG portal. Unauthorized operators face immediate local police intervention, equipment confiscation, and heavy federal fines for endangering public airspace safety and cultural heritage assets.
