Drone Rules for Powrunna State Forest
Powrunna State Forest is managed by Parks Queensland (PQ) and wildlife services, meaning drone operations may require permission from both PQ and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). Following CASA drone rules alone does not automatically mean you can legally fly on PQ-managed land.

Under australian law no drones may be flown in PQ land without prior permission.
Requirments
You may fly here if you have aprroval from PQ and CASA for scientific research or film making purposes.

- Drone must be below 120m
- Drone must stay clear of aircraft
