Air advisory Fly with caution Last updated: Jun 6, 2026

At Teewah airstrip, flights are allowed but should be done with caution.

It is completely legal to fly your drone within 5.5 km of a smaller airport that doesn't have a control tower. While the airspace is wide open for your use, just exercise normal caution by keeping an ear out for piloted aircraft. If you spot a plane nearby, simply be a smart pilot by moving your drone away and landing it safely.
