Balowra State Conservation Area is managed by Parks NSW (PNSW) and wildlife services, meaning drone operations may require permission from both PNSW and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). Under australian law no drones may be flown in PNSW land without prior permission.

Requirments

You may fly here if you have aprroval from PV and CASA for scientific research or film making purposes.

  • Drone must stay within line of sight
  • Drone must be below 120m
  • Drone must stay clear of aircraft
  • Drone must not come within 30m of people
