Sunken Meadow State Park

This location is superb for drone flying because it has long boardwalk views, and open beach space that gives you a lot of room for videos. The drone handled very well here, especially over the open fields and shoreline, but you’ll still get some steady wind coming off the Long Island Sound that can push your shots a bit, although the gimbal typically balances it out. You can get a nice mix of slow reveal shots over the beach and higher altitude establishing shots showing the coastline curve. Just keep an eye on wind direction so you can push the wind back to shore.
