This spot sits right on the barrier island of Fire Island, giving you huge open beach space and direct Atlantic Ocean views that work really well for cinematic drone footage. The drone usually handles smoothly over the wide shoreline, but winds can be strong and consistent since you’re fully exposed to the ocean with very little land blocking gusts. You can also get dramatic wave patterns and sand textures that look especially good from above when using the course lock feature. Sunsets here are nice, but you’ll want to keep an eye on battery life since wind can increase power usage on the return flight.
