Flying a DJI Mini 4 Pro at Whitehall Beach in East Setauket during a sunset flight felt especially cinematic, with the sky shifting into deep oranges and golds over the Long Island Sound. The drone held steady even as light coastal wind came off the water, keeping the horizon smooth and the motion controlled while I framed the shoreline. From above, the reflection of the sunset across the water created a layered look that made slow, forward tracking shots stand out. The Mini 4 Pro handled minor gusts well, only requiring small corrections to keep the shot locked in. Overall, the flight felt calm and stable, and the sunset lighting made every movement over the beach look clean and polished.
