Flying a DJI Mini 4 Pro over Shore Road Marina in East Setauket felt incredibly smooth and scenic, especially with the calm water reflecting the boats and sunset colors. The area gives you great opportunities for slow cinematic shots along the shoreline and marina docks without needing to fly very high. Since the Mini 4 Pro handles wind fairly well for its size, the footage stayed stable even with the light coastal breeze coming off the harbor. The quieter design of the drone also helped keep the flight low-profile around the peaceful marina atmosphere. Overall, it’s a really photogenic location for waterfront drone footage as long as you stay aware of nearby people, boats, and local flight rules.
