Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve Beach

This spot is really popular for drone footage because it has a mix of cliffs, wooded trails, open fields, and sweeping views over Long Island Sound. The drone typically handles very smoothly over the open shoreline areas, but you can get some stronger gusts near the bluffs that will push your stability a bit. It’s a great place for slow cinematic reveals, especially when you fly from the tree line out toward the water. The elevation changes also let you create layered shots that feel more dynamic than a flat beach. Golden hour here is especially strong, with long shadows across the fields and warm light reflecting off the water.
