Sighișoara Citadel is a medieval fortified old town located in Sighișoara, Mureș County, Romania. Founded in the 12th century by Transylvanian Saxons, it is one of the best-preserved inhabited citadels in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999.
