The Munții Bucegi are a striking mountain massif in central Romania, forming part of the Carpații Meridionali. Known for their monumental cliffs, glacial plateaus, and distinctive rock formations such as the Sfinxul and Babele, they are among the country’s most visited natural areas. Much of the massif lies within the Parcul Natural Bucegi, a protected area established for its biodiversity and scenic value.
