Illikkal Kallu

​Illikkal Kallu is one of the highest peaks in the Kottayam district of Kerala, sitting around 3,500 feet above sea level. It is famously known as one of the origins of the Meenachil River and often reminds people of the Pillar Rocks in Kodaikanal. ​This is the story of how I attempted a monsoon ride here, hit a wall, and came back for an unforgettable experience.
